| Quesada is a tranquil residential area fully serviced with its own shops, restaurants, banks and medical centre, as well as the Golf course, garden Bowling green and Aqua Park. A nearby hotel (15 min walk) offers 10-pin bowling and tennis. The nearest beach is only 10 minutes drive at Guardamar, a resort used by spaniards and which boasts a fine 12 mile stretch of unspoilt sands. While the villa setting is quiet, a choice of pubs and restaurants are within a 10 min walk. The town of Rojales provides a wider choice of shops and restaurants while Torrevieja is a much busier resort offering a full variety of shops and nightlife including restaurants, clubs, promenade with nightly market stalls, marina, etc. Local markets abound in the nearby villages while the Island of Tabarca offers opportunity for snorkling. |

Terra-Mitica theme park is only 75 mins up the motorway. There are a further 5 golf courses within 30-min. The famous La Mange resort is an hour to the South.
All the local towns and villages have a special market day and during July have 'Moors & Christians' festivals to celebrate the local history.
