Villa Ponticello lies close to all amenities, so shopping and getting around is made really easy, even though from the villa you can just hear the birds and Annabel's horses. Pontremoli and the other many medieval villages and hamlets of the area are just 10 minutes away, where shops, supermarkets and restaurants are abundant; without mentioning the close access to seaside resorts, such as Portofino, Portovenere and Lerici in Liguria; and those of Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio on the Tuscan coastline.
Pisa, Lucca and Florence are the three must-see art cities around ( 1 to 1 and half hours drive .)
