The valley of Las Brenas is a rural area lush with flora and fauna and scattered with picturesque towns and villages. Near to the villa is the Maroparque with 300 exotic animal species. There is excellent walking in the area with marked trails and viewing points.

The Villa Miranda is set in the valley of Las Brenas near the town of San Pedro. Extremely private, it is located down a quiet country lane and accessed down a winding drive past pine trees. All areas of the property offer exceptional views of the coast and the mountains to the rear. The capital Santa Cruz and the beach resort of Los Cancajos, with restaurants, cafes, bars and shops, are a short drive away. A pleasant 45 minute drive through mountain scenery will take you to explore the other side of the island, with the towns of Tazacorte, famous for its fish cuisine, and Puerta Naos, a pretty beach resort.
Supermarkets and shops are nearby in San Pedro. The German house-keeper lives in the local area and speaks Spanish and English.
